Answered: New solar panel installation checks?

Fair Trading Minister Anthony Roberts said NSW Fair Trading today commenced the first of 500 checks on solar panel installations in Baulkham Hills, Blacktown, Kellyville and surrounding areas.

“These checks follow checks on 55 homes in Port Macquarie in February this year that revealed alarming defects and breaches of the Electricity (Consumer Safety) Act 2004 and the Home Building Act 1989,” he said.
